2602) I have two small businesses I have nurtured through the years. I sell my sewing projects on Etsy, and then my writing career works within many online places.

In either of these businesses, Proverbs 24:27 is a big help. It reminds us to prepare your work outside; get everything ready for yourself in the field, and after that build your house. (ESV)

What I understand this to mean, in whatever task we have before us, we should prepare first before beginning.

I also think this preparedness is also something we should do as we use the gifts and abilities God has given us. Starting out on many endeavors will always be more successful if we prepare first.
