Going for a Walk

2582) Unless it’s the dead of winter, I walk regularly with my little dog. Most of the time it’s just us, but occasionally I’ll walk with a friend.

I don’t really mind walking with a friend from time to time because it’s an excellent opportunity to have pleasant conversations, but sometimes it’s a bit of a drag, literally.

I’m not a fast walker, but there’s one friend that’s considerably slower, and if we plan to walk together, I need to block out more time on my calendar.

Proverbs 13:20 also addresses walking, but not in a physical sense. It encourages us to make sure we walk with the wise and not the fools because it will influence us in the long run.

It’s true that we are influenced by those we spend the most time with, including God. Considering who we’re walking with can be very helpful.
