2573) I know someone who does a job for a company that many insiders may think insignificant. The job isn’t an executive position, nor is it one that would look impressive on a resume.

Still, this person does the job with care, making sure their responsibilities are taken care of. In addition, this person always has something encouraging to say to everyone around. I consider these two things to be characteristics of a significant job.

1 Corinthians 12:14-20 reminds us that all of us have spiritual responsibilities. Some have jobs that are seen by many, and others, not so much. Paul reminds us here that no one’s spiritual jobs are less important than others. We all have something to contribute spiritually, and we should take what we do for God seriously because God does.
