An Important Choice

2512) I have never been a fan of horror movies and books. I guess one of the reasons is that I don’t need any help feeling afraid, and yet many people are fascinated with horror and evil.

I can admit that these things can be interesting, but Psalm 101:3-4 tells us not to, by choice, pursue evil. Why? Because evil’s fascination cracks open a door that can flood your life with things that do not belong to God; this is Satan’s arena.

Is this harmful? I think we all know the answer to this.

A good example of this is when I saw a documentary about a specific person’s life and something horribly evil happened to them. To this day, I can’t get that scene out of my head. I would have been better off having not seen it. Being aware that evil can permeate your life is prudent.
