Ask

2511) One skill a large percentage of my young scholars don’t have is the ability to ask for help when needed. I assume there are multiple reasons for this, but when I could guide them toward this behavior; they seemed to be less anxious about what they were working on.

Kids are not the only ones who need to develop this skill; adults do too. Why? Philippians 4:6 tells us.

The verse calls out to those of us who have anxieties and promises that burdens can be lessened if we pray to God about whatever is on our hearts. This also opens the door for us to thank God, knowing he’s in control over all aspects of our lives. When you feel anxiety rising within, go to God and tell him about it, praising him, by faith, that he listens and helps. At all times.
