But passive aggression isn’t always obvious, so I don’t always react when I experience it.

Of the two, I think that passive aggression can be more destructive because it’s subtle.

Proverbs 26:18-19 addresses both aggressions. It tells us there are some people who throw firebrands and arrows, but we also see aggression when someone says something cutting.

Afterward, when it’s obvious it’s hurt someone, the passive aggressor says, I was only joking. Passive aggression is still a destructive form of manipulation, one a child of God should not be wielding.
