2587) I was watching a video clip the other day, and the scene featured Jesus and Jairus, the man whose daughter dies, and Jesus raised from the dead.

The scene had Jesus standing there, and Jairus before him. After Jairus pleads with Jesus to help his daughter, Jesus looks him in the eye and says, I know you.

Whether Jesus really used these words here isn’t important because he states in Luke 16:15 that he knows each one of our hearts, including Jairus’. He knows our love, commitment, fears, failures, and so much more.

Isn’t it a good thing to have a Savior who already knows us totally. The good, the bad, and the ugly. In spite of everything he knows about us, he still wants a relationship with us. That is wonderful news!
