Joy comes from realizing that circumstances, people, animals, and more are gifts from God, and he means us to enjoy them.

Psalm 43:4 tells us to go to God’s altar, a place where sacrifices are made, with joy. How can we do this?

For starters, it’s taking the time to recognize all that God has given to us. It’s remembering that relationships are more important than things. That God didn’t make us to be alone, and he continually pours out mercy and grace upon us. God is waiting for you to come to his altar.
