2443) Kids will be kids. That’s what I say to myself often during a school week.
There is always a push and shove when you ask a group to line up. The boys (and often girls) have to hit the top of the doorframe as they enter or exit a room.
It is also predictable that at least one of my young scholars writes with ink on their hands and arms. Generally, what they write or draw there is nonsensical, but I see them do this regularly.
Isaiah 49:16 reminds me of my kids’ “tattoos.” It says God has engraved you onto the palm of his hands.
Your hands are a place you will notice regularly and, in this analogy, God sees us in his palm regularly. We are in the forefront of his thoughts.
The idea that Almighty God “sees” me and concerns himself with me when there are billions of people on the earth is amazing. He sees you too.
