Who Were the 12 Disciples?

Here is a creative way to introduce the 12 Disciples of Jesus in the New Testament.

My “Who Were the 12 Disciples?” worksheets give you an introduction quiz, asking your class to name the disciples (with answers included).

Following this quiz, you will find worksheets featuring two disciples per page and then each sheet filled out with information on each disciple. Get to know who these 12 men were that closely followed Jesus and what became of them.

This activity would be ideal on the high school level and older.  I will be adding many more of these items in the near future, so check back often.

• You’re interested in knowing the authors of the books of the Bible. • You have a Bible verse come to mind, but you do not remember where in the Bible it is. • Your wish is to learn about the celebrations of the Jewish feasts in the Old Testament. • You want to comprehend the usage and structure of the Tabernacle. • You’re a curious and persistent individual who seeks to comprehend the significance of any Biblical passage. All the things you would like to know and understand better can be found using basic Bible study books and online sources.

Here is a fun way to introduce the 10 Commandments to your students, small groups or Sunday school. I have used this memorization activity with all ages, from small children to adults.

With enthusiasm, you can "hook" anyone into learning the 10 Commandments, in order, plus, they will become acquainted with an accurate understanding of what each commandment means in the process.

Please note: it was somewhat difficult to describe some of the hand motions for each commandment so please feel free to contact me for any clarifications you might need or want.

Have you ever wondered what the Bible has to say about angels?

There are many incorrect notions of who angels are (and are not) and what their roles are in God's word. This short study on these spiritual beings will supply you and your Bible study group with exactly what the Bible reveals about them. These include:

1. Where angels came from.

2. Who they are and are not.

3. What angels know and don't know.

4. The ranks and classification of angels.

5. Angels' jobs and what they specifically do.

6. What angels will be doing in the future.

7. Short list of Biblical events when angels were involved.

You'll receive in this download filled out worksheets and then a copy with blanks so if you want your class or Bible study to take notes.

God longs to spend time with you. Why don’t you join Him today? 100 Minutes with God is written for those of us who struggle with finding time to spend with God. These individual minutes makes it possible to connect briefly with our Creator, yet its content provides you with material that you can contemplate throughout your day.

Here is a creative way to teach the Life of Joseph from Genesis 37-50.

I have included teaching notes, introductory ideas, illustrations and worksheets that are both completed and left blank for the class to fill in. I have used New International Version (NIV) of the Bible in these lessons but the worksheets can be adapted to other versions.

This Bible unit would be ideal on the high school level and older.
