THE BOTTLE HOUSE

Where is God in the midst of tragedy and suffering? Is it possible to surrender to God’s will during times of despair?

Deeply wounded, at Bethany R&L Behavioral Healthcare Center, Stacy Meadows, Stefan Krause and Debbie Young struggle to find emotional healing but when they encounter Chaplain Joseph Miller’s mysterious bottles labeled for each of them, they are curious. How will a collection of bottles help with their healing especially when they are feeling angry with God?

It is only when these three individuals discover the real purpose behand these mysterious bottles in this Contemporary Christian novel, they discover a deep spiritual reawakening.

From Christian suspense author Susan Grant, who brought you 100 Minutes with God: 1 Minute Daily Devotions of Timeless Inspiration, you’ll discover in the inspirational faith-based fiction book:

* how to let go of control and trust God when your life’s falling apart.

*how to talk honestly with God in prayer and why this is important.

Here is a creative way to teach the Sermon on the Mount from Matthew 5-7.

I have included lesson plans, introductory ideas, illustrations and worksheets that are both completed and left blank for the class to fill in. I have used both the King James Version (KJV) and the New Living Version (NLV) in these lessons.

This Bible unit would be ideal on the high school level and older.

Here is a creative way to teach the book of Jonah.

I have included teaching notes, introductory ideas, illustrations and worksheets that are both completed and left blank for the class to fill in. I have used the New International Version (NIV) of the Bible in this unit but you can adapt the worksheets to other versions. This Bible unit would be ideal for upper elementary through adults

Here is a fun way to introduce the 10 Commandments to your students, small groups or Sunday school. I have used this memorization activity with all ages, from small children to adults.

With enthusiasm, you can "hook" anyone into learning the 10 Commandments, in order, plus, they will become acquainted with an accurate understanding of what each commandment means in the process.

Please note: it was somewhat difficult to describe some of the hand motions for each commandment so please feel free to contact me for any clarifications you might need or want.

I will be adding many more of these items in the near future, so check back often.
