Bible Quotation Quiz – Haven’t I Heard That Before?

Here is a fun way to introduce a Bible unit to your students. My Biblical quotations quiz, “Haven’t I Heard That Before?” is a fun way to begin any Bible study. Just pass out the 3-paged quiz and instruct your students to read the quotations and circle the “Yes” if they believe it originates with the Bible or “No” if they believe it doesn’t. When everyone is finished, you can use the included answer sheets to go over the quizzes and see how everyone did. When I have used this in my Bible classes, there has been much speculation and some surprises when the answers are revealed. This activity would work on the high school aged students and older.

Here is a fun way to introduce the 10 Commandments to your students, small groups or Sunday school. I have used this memorization activity with all ages, from small children to adults.

With enthusiasm, you can "hook" anyone into learning the 10 Commandments, in order, plus, they will become acquainted with an accurate understanding of what each commandment means in the process.

Please note: it was somewhat difficult to describe some of the hand motions for each commandment so please feel free to contact me for any clarifications you might need or want.

I will be adding many more of these items in the near future, so check back often.

Here is a creative way to teach the book of Jonah.

I have included teaching notes, introductory ideas, illustrations and worksheets that are both completed and left blank for the class to fill in. I have used the New International Version (NIV) of the Bible in this unit but you can adapt the worksheets to other versions. This Bible unit would be ideal for upper elementary through adults

God longs to spend time with you, even for a minute.
God longs to spend time with you. Why don’t you join Him today? 100 Minutes with God is written for those of us who struggle with finding time to spend with God. These individual minutes makes it possible to connect briefly with our Creator, yet its content provides you with material that you can contemplate throughout your day. Many have raved over these 1-minute devotions as they are practical and to the point. Having the scriptures listed that are the foundation for each minute provides the reader with the opportunity to read God’s word and ponder on these truths all day long.

Here is a creative way to teach the Life of Joseph from Genesis 37-50.

I have included teaching notes, introductory ideas, illustrations and worksheets that are both completed and left blank for the class to fill in. I have used New International Version (NIV) of the Bible in these lessons but the worksheets can be adapted to other versions.

This Bible unit would be ideal on the high school level and older.

Here is a fun way to introduce a Bible unit to your students on both the teen and adult levels. Just give out a copy of the two-paged quiz and have your class write their answers: person, place or thing on the blank provided.

After everyone has completed it, you can go over the answers on each item. I have included an answer key so that you can quickly look up where these persons, places or things are written about in the Bible.
