Grace

2584) I’ve mentioned before that grace is something I have a hard time wrapping around my brain. I guess it’s because grace goes against much of the reality of life on this earth and our relationship to others.

I have found that it’s hard to give something to others that we don’t have ourselves.

Acts 20:32 tells us God has his own work of grace. He is grace embodied. He did all he did to provide a way to him through Jesus’ graceful act of dying on the cross.

Grace is not something we use to do bad things and feel forgiven. It’s way beyond that. It’s the forgiveness of the unthinkable. It’s not a condition of deserving. It’s given to us freely and continually. If I could wrap my spirit in a blanket of grace, my life would be so much better.
