In the past, there were many people who could do many things well. For example, my husband knows how to build things, weld, and construct a brick wall, to name only a few.

Paul warns us in Ephesians 4:28 that being ignorant concerning our spiritual lives can cause a hardness of our hearts.

If we don’t dig into God’s word to deal with trials, loss, guidance, and more, we get only the view of what we see in this life, with no spiritual emphasis. It’s important to not be ignorant concerning spiritual matters. It is a choice we make each day.
