The student may have been caught red-handed, but they are so overwhelmed by the incident, they just need to feel me close by.

Zephaniah 3:17 tells us God does the same thing for us. When we’re in trouble and even rejoicing, he’s right beside us, giving us support.

The skeptic part of my mind wants to say that if God is right there in my life, why doesn’t he stop the bad things.

I honestly can’t answer this completely, but I know one day, these bad things will be no more. In the meantime, know, by faith, that God is right there with you
