Work’s Effort

2525) It’s not always easy to teach kids that they will experience different things depending on how hard they work on something. Effort builds confidence, experience, and good self-esteem.

The lack of effort builds a hole that can grow so deep and wide they fall into it. It brings experience, but in the negative realm, and how can you be proud of something you really didn’t invest in?

2 Timothy 2:15 tells us anything we present or do for God should be something we aren’t ashamed of. This doesn’t mean we have to spend hours and hours on something for it to “count” in God’s eyes. Instead, whatever the task is, we do our best.

When effort is required and my young scholars work hard, they are eager to see what their grade is because they are proud of their work.

Are you proud of your work for God?
