Know and then See

2490) I have read in several places that many have “life verses” from the Bible they cling to. I don’t really have one, but if I did, Job 19:25-26 would be a strong contender.

It reads, I know that my redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand on the earth. And after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God. (NIV)

There are several reasons this verse resonates with me, and one of them is the fact that I stand in the knowledge (faith) that Jesus is my redeemer and then, one day, I will see God. So much of my faith is based on limited “seeing,” and yet, true sight will come in the next life. I know it.
