2487)  The word accountability is used a lot these days. I find this interesting because it seems our society seems to get further and further away from the lives God wants us to live.

It’s also easy to be a victim when wrestling with accountability. I am this way because this or that happened in my life.

This may be true, and yet, Jeremiah 31:30 tells us we will be held accountable for what we do.

No, we cannot control how people treat us nor stop the difficult things in life, but we can and are expected to weigh our actions in response to everything that comes our way.

We are not victims. We have the chance to be victors; being responsible for what we say and do.
