2446) I read a statement once, and it has stayed in my mind. You can’t solve money problems with money.

It caught my ear because it’s easy to think, if I could just get this paid off ormy life would be so much better if I had the money to do that.

In Luke 14:28, Jesus stated that a wise man considers the cost before building a tower. Yeah, I know what some of you may be thinking. Why would anyone build (or have built) something they cannot pay for?

The answer is: people do it all the time.

When it comes to Christians, Jesus calls us to be responsible financially. Live on what we have, save for what’s needed, and be content without depending on money to do so.

This is obedience to God.
