2431) It’s amazing to me that we can find out how to do just about anything on an online video. From how to get the sink stopper out to how to turn off the obnoxious desire many cars now have to lock all doors as you gain speed.
Though we can find all this help, sometimes the kind we need is in the spiritual realm. For example, Joshua 1:9 tells us to be strong and courageous.
There have been so many times I’ve cried out for this, not quite finding how to be these things.
Perhaps an answer to this question can be found online, but a simpler way to find out is in God’s word. The rest of the verse tells us how to be strong and courageous.
It tells us we can be these things by embracing the fact that God is with us wherever we go.
It seems so simple, perhaps even too simple, and yet God has provided what we need to be strong and courageous.
It’s not found in a feeling, nor is it something we can just conjure up with the right amount of thinking. It lies in simple faith: believing God will give us what we need, when we need it, if we would just ask. How can I be strong and courageous? I don’t need an online video to show me.
