2416) There was a time in my life when everything I thought I knew was pulled out from under me. I can remember sitting and feeling stunned. From that time forward, it seemed as if I were going through the motions of life.

As I existed in a heavy fog, someone told me I was the bravest person she knew. I didn’t believe her at first, but as the fog dissipated, I could see things more clearly.  

What this person saw that I could not is found in Matthew 5:16. Here we read our light should shine before others; that others will see our example and praise God.

Even though I felt like a walking zombie, others noticed, and hopefully, praised God, in watching the pathway I was stumbling down.

It’s good to not underestimate how God is using us in the lives of others.
