2014) When my sweet, famous dog of my Boone Tails children’s book series was with us, each evening, he would look up at the ceiling in the same area with great intent. I would smile and say, “Boone, are you watching the angels?” Sounds a little silly, but is it?  

2 Kings 6:17 records an event where Elisha prayed that a young man with him could see what humans cannot. God opened this man’s eyes, and he saw angelic warriors surrounding Elisha.  

I don’t know what surrounds me each day and yet, this passage and others within the Bible tell me there are spiritual beings everywhere. It takes faith to see this within my spirit.  

Maybe Boone truly was seeing angels.
