Faith is similar. Because the history of what God has done is laid before us in the Bible, his reputation also testifies he is faithful.

Some think faith is a feeling, but it’s not. It is the mental assurance that the object of your faith will keep his or her word.

Do not take my word that God is faithful. Look for yourself, because this is the foundation of faith.

God keeps his word. Stand on this, even when your feelings say otherwise. Habakkuk 2:4
