Imagination: Friend or Foe?

634) I have been gifted with a great imagination. Ideas for stories, lesson planning and entertainment often come easily to me. There are drawbacks for this gift, too. When I am afraid of something, my imagination makes it worse. It isn’t hard for me to “see” right away the bad in situations. Fortunately, God works above and beyond what I envision. I can see this when I look back over my life and spot the things God has done for me that I never could have imagined. Limiting this life and the next with my own imagination would be a poor way to live. It takes faith to trust that my imagination, good or bad is inferior to what God has done, is presently doing and will do in eternity.   Ephesians 3:20
