2635) It’s funny how quickly songs can come to mind, and in my head, I can even hear the words and music.

As I read Hebrews 2:1, a song titled Drift Away popped into my head.

Unlike the song, the author of Hebrews tells us we need to watch that we don’t drift away from our faith.

This reminds me of the fact that our faith needs to be guarded and fed, or it can shrivel up, drift away, and die. The author even emphasizes this with a shout out, be careful! It’s good to guard our faith.
