Binding Wounds

2589) I remember a time, long ago, when I deeply cut my hand. My mother quietly cleaned the wound and bound it up with bandages. Although I didn’t relish the cut, of course, I found comfort because someone else looked out for me and tended to me.

Psalm 147:3 tells us God does the same thing for us. He heals the brokenhearted by tending to our wounds. Some wounds, of course, are external, but the ones I find more significant are those that are on the inside. Jesus is the Great Physician. (Mark 2:17)  He is always there, wanting to offer his healing. As God’s child, ask him to bind your wounds; after all, he promises to do this
