2474) When I read about history or even watch the news, I’ll see people who have done some (and many) horrific things while on this earth. I think about the fact that the Bible teaches that no one is too far gone to receive God’s grace if they ask for it. Luke 23:43.

In some ways, this is hard to hear. The part of me which cries for justice and the fact that someone asks for God’s forgiveness and mercy, even at the last second, will be forgiven.

But if I turn this scrutiny to look within, I’m just as sinful as anyone else in history. I’m not too far gone to receive God’s gift of salvation.

The bottom line is, no one is too far gone to receive God’s mercy, and that includes me.
