2469) Whenever I visited my beloved grandparents, it was understood that after lunch they would take a nap for about 30 minutes. It was enough to rejuvenate them for the rest of the day.

People take naps, but God doesn’t. Psalm 121:3 tells us God is always watching over us. He doesn’t overlook what’s going on in our lives because he’s sleeping.

Based on this alone, when I crawl into bed at night and sleep, there is still a God who is watching over me. This is one of many gifts God gives us.
