When it comes to giving, have you ever considered how God gives? There are two practical occasions that illustrate this, not to mention all the promises God has given concerning this.

In 2 Kings 4:1-7, Elisha came upon a widow who was in great need. God, through his servant, multiplied the little olive oil that she had and provided more than she needed.

In Matthew 14:13-21, we read of how Jesus took 5 small loaves and 2 fish and fed more than 5,000 people. There were even 12 baskets of leftovers on top of all of this.

God promises many things to his children, and he gives over and above what we need. It’s always a good thing to take time to consider this and thank God for it.
