Inventory

2371) I have had a small sewing business for many years. Because I work full-time, most of what I sell, I have to make before I place it in my shop.

Because of this, I always inventory all my products to make sure what I’m selling is what I have literally on the shelf.

When I read Joshua 23:14, I thought of this inventory. Joshua states he is about to leave this earth, and he has searched his life and reaffirmed that not one thing the Lord said he would do failed.

Looking through our lives and seeing what God has done is an important type of inventory. We can see times in our lives we may have thought God was silent when, looking back, we can see he wasn’t.

It is helpful to reflect on what God has done in our lives. It can give the encouragement we need in the present.
