2367) Many years ago, I had a new student enter my high school class. He sat down, and then I asked him to do something, and he flipped out. He jumped out of his seat and came after me.
At the same time, I saw another one of my students jump from his seat and run up toward me, meeting the first one at the same time.
The second student simply stood there, with his arms crossed, clearly there to protect me, and the first one made an obscene gesture and left the room. I never saw that young man again. I am still grateful for the protection one of my students gave me.
Zephaniah 3:17 tells us God is a mighty one who will save. He is there beside you, guarding.
Who knows what could have happened to us if God hadn’t been there. He’s even there with you if you are walking through the valley of the shadow of death. (Psalm 23:4).
