I always wondered how “following” Jesus is possible because I could only understand the literal meaning.

I think the answer to this wondering is found in Luke 5:11. Here, Jesus says to the first disciples, follow me and this word, follow, means to in part, follow by living in the example they saw in Jesus.

One of my Christmas gifts was a mug from The Chosen. It quotes from the show the disciple, Matthew (one of my favorite characters), I have only one thing to do today… on the back it says, follow him. It’s that simple and that difficult.
