2303) When I was young, I can remember watching the movie, The Great Escape, starring Steve McQueen. I thought, Wow! Look at what all these men did just to escape a German camp during WWII.

When I read 1 Corinthians 10:13 this morning, this movie came to mind. It’s a verse about temptation, and the second part of the verse tells us God will provide a way for us to avoid or escape it.

The specific thing that occurs to me is that God does not promise the way he provides an escape from temptation will be an easy one.

We may have to plan, dig and dig and move out like the men in the movie did.

Escaping temptation can be very difficult, but it is still provided by God.
