2289) Because I was raised in the church and the Bible, I have spent a lot of time pondering things.

For example, I can remember when I was small, wondering if God already knows everything, why pray?

Or, can God make something so big, he can’t move it? I know the fundamental answers to these, but thoughts like these cross my mind.

The verse Hebrews 4:15 takes some of my reflections and answers them. The verse tells us, for we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. ESV.

Yes, God is omniscient. He knows everything about us, but he can also relate to our sufferings and situations because he, Jesus, was a human and walked on this earth.

God does know how we feel. He didn’t have to put on skin and bones to illustrate this, but he chose to anyway.
