2236) I have never been much of a partier; even when a teenager.  

I do like to celebrate things, however, and Psalm 23:6 gives me plenty of reasons.  

In the familiar Psalm, verse 6 tells us, surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.  

In other words, God’s children have his goodness and mercy pursuing us. It’s what God longs to give us.  

No matter the circumstances, God will always use them for our good and the good of others. Anytime we should receive a stern punishment, mercy opens the door and takes the debt.  

Aren’t these things alone enough to party over?
