2210) Many years ago, I was watching something on TV where the characters were trying to cross a desert, they became desperately thirsty. When they finally got to a water source, they drank deeply.  

Our bodies crave water (in whatever form you might like). It needs water to survive. You can’t be healthy without it.  

John 4 includes a discussion about water. Jesus tells the woman at the well that if she drinks of the water from that well, she will thirst again. But if she drinks from the spiritual water Jesus provides, she will never thirst again.  

Just like our bodies need water, our souls need God. Only he will satisfy what we need, and he gives it to us freely, at his expense.  

I’m thirsty can mean many things.
