2077) When I was in Bible college, I had the blessing of having the late Doctor Johnny V. Miller as a professor and later, a friend.
Johnny was always prepared in his coursework with the added blessing of having the gift of finding and teaching practical applications of God’s word.
He was serious, learned, humorous, disciplined, and he loved his students, which included me.
His fingerprint can be seen upon my soul and in his honor, I named the chaplain in my award-winning novel, The Bottle House, after him.
I am grateful to have had Johnny Miller as a part of my life and have worked to emulate his obedience, resulting in a good example to others. I will miss him this side of eternity.
Good examples can produce great change. Titus 2:1-8.
