1840) Recently, I read the well-known verse, Isaiah 41:10. Here I am reminded not to fear because God is here, strengthening me, helping me, and upholding me, but what caught my attention this time in the verse are the first two words, “Fear not.”
 
These two words caught my attention because I have developed a mentality that God is always watching me, waiting for me to mess up so he can punish me, but that’s not what this verse says.

God is a judge, but he is gracious, forgiving, patient, generous and kind. After all, it is the love of God that brings people to repentance. Romans 2:4
