2380) There are different occasions when we are given gifts. Birthdays, Christmas, Mother’s Day, etc.

When we receive these gifts, what do we do with them? Do we sit back and enjoy them? Do we share them with others? Do we add other things to them to make a “set” of some sort?

All of these things are nice and yet, when it comes to gifts God gives us, 1 Peter 4:10 tells us we are to use them to serve one another and ultimately God.

Does this mean we can’t enjoy these gifts God gives? I don’t think so. There is great joy when we are using the talents and abilities God has given, but these things were not meant to stay hidden. Dare to discover the gifts God has given you and share them with others.
