2373) Teachers, as with many other professions, have to stay on top of the latest research, successes and failures of anything related to the field.
These trainings often come in groups of 3-8 hours. Some of them are better than others.
These thoughts came to mind when I read Titus 2:11-12. Here Paul writes that because of God’s grace, we have salvation. Isn’t that wonderful?
Yet, what caught my eye today is what Paul states in verse 12. He says the grace of God (from verse 11) trains us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions. How does grace train us?
Grace is filled with all the goodness God has given us when we don’t deserve it. If we let this fact saturate our hearts, it will lead us, or train us, to renounce these ungodly things.
How? Because it can fill us with such gratitude we want to walk in righteousness. Gratitude is vital in a Christian’s life.
