2359) I was thinking about the animal kingdom the other day, and it amazed me that God made all sorts of animals. What creativity. What a variety.

Did God have to do this? Of course not, but he did, and the animal kingdom is a gift to the human race.

In this life, God has given us many gifts. Material things. Emotional things. Relationship things, etc. Now that we have an overabundance of these things, what should we do with them?

One answer to this question is found in Ecclesiastes 5:19. Here the Preacher tells us that when God gives us things, he also gives us the power or ability to enjoy them.

Balancing responsibility and enjoyment is sometimes tricky, but God has given much to us to enjoy. So…. enjoy!
