2355) I have found it interesting to read a handful of books written by people who had near-death experiences. Many of their accounts held similarities, and one similarity I noticed is the total surrounding of perfect love.

With a love so pure and strong, many of these people recorded that they never wanted to leave where they were and come back to Earth.

I file in my mind anyone’s experiences and don’t dispute them, even if I may or may not agree. It usually isn’t productive to debate what someone’s encounters contain; after all, they experienced it and not me.

What I do know about the next life is recorded in the Bible, and one catches my eye right now. It’s found in 1 Corinthians 2:9. But as it is written, Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love him.

I do not know experientially yet what being in God’s presence will be like, but this verse gives my imagination a run for its money. What is beyond this life for me and all of God’s children? I don’t know exactly, but it’s going to be so good, it will be beyond what we can imagine.

This gives me hope and encouragement when the perils of this life weigh heavily on me. It can do the same for you.
