2330) Growing up in church has many advantages. It also brings back some interesting memories.

I can remember when the pastor would offer his morning prayer; it seemed to me like it lasted forever, when it reality; it was only a few minutes.

One of the most moving prayers is found in Numbers 6:24-26. It needs no further comment from me, so I will simply place it here.

The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. Numbers 6:24-26 (ESV) Amen
