Well Done

2329) The words we speak will often be taken seriously depending on the integrity you may or may not hold.

For example, hearing “well done” from someone who is addicted to drugs will have a different impact than hearing it from someone who has earned your respect.

If you take this thinking further, it’s possible to see that receiving the words, well done from God is far better than from anyone on this earth.

John 12:43 reminds us of this. It tells us to seek glory from God, which lasts for eternity, instead of from people which can make you feel good for only a little while. I deeply desire to hear God say to me one day, well done.
