2328) My young scholars love to play tag during recess and as a teacher on duty, I have to watch over them continually because many of them, in their eagerness to win, will push other kids right over instead of the gentle, tag–you’re it.

Kids aren’t the only ones who push or get pushed. Psalm 118:13 tells us God’s children will get pushed, usually not literally, but the Lord helps them.

Situations, circumstances, and relationships can push us down. When this happens, dare to draw on the strength God gives in meditating on his word and relying on the Holy Spirit. We all will be pushed down, but we don’t need to stay there.
