2311) So much of our lives is wrapped up in deceit. Call them “white lies”, fibs, scams, or untruths, but they all have lies within them.

Everywhere we look, we can find these labels for deceit, and if we’re wise, we need to be aware of this fact 24/7.

What would our lives be like if we never had these things happen? We could always believe what someone says.

We could take people at face value. We wouldn’t need our court system in the same way we do now. What a relief that could be.

The good news is, John 17:17 tells us God’s word is truth. Period. You don’t have to wonder if he’s exaggerating; if he’s telling us something to manipulate us to do what he wants us to do and more.

Truth is a valuable thing, and God only operates in it, therefore, you can trust him.
