2310) It is in adulthood when most of us learn that things gotten easily are not valued as much as things we have to work harder for.

As I think about this, I wonder if the main reason is that we had to put more of ourselves into it; we had to work harder for it.

When I write, I put myself into my words, stories, devotions and more, and that in itself creates value.

Genesis 2:7 tells us that when God created man, he made the body and then breathed his breath of life into him, creating mankind.

We are living and breathing because God put a piece of himself within us.

If you’re doubting you have value. If you think you are forgotten. If you don’t know what you should be doing with your life right now, remember God himself has placed within you part of himself. That alone should boost our faith that God has already shown up in our lives and will stay there until we go to him.
