2292) There have been times in my life when I have struggled with thinking that what I am doing for the Lord is insignificant.

After all, I’m not a powerful preacher. My books don’t stay for weeks on the New York Times bestseller list. I don’t appear on multiple media outlets with a huge following.

I can conclude from these things that my light isn’t as bright or effective, and yet, Jesus said in Matthew 5:16, to let your light shine. There’s no mention here of how bright and big this light is.

Stop for a moment and picture complete darkness. Even the tiniest flame shatters it. Nothing we do for God is insignificant or too small.
