2287) “Hacks” are trendy right now. They seek to make things easier and even more efficient. I have found several hacks that I have incorporated.

However, many things in this life should be done from the bottom up. In other words, the groundwork must be done for the goal to be successful and of lasting value.

I can’t imagine what it would be like for someone to come into my classroom for more than one day and try to become an effective teacher without serious groundwork.

What about doctors? Contractors? Dentists? You get the point.

Proverbs 24:27 tells us we need to get everything ready before building a house.

The Lord has called each of us to do many things for him. Using a “hack” in most of them won’t produce many things that “last.”
