2286) I confess, I really hate it when someone is angry or upset with me. I know this isn’t necessarily a bad thing because it gives me the opportunity to make things right.
However, 1 Corinthians 7:23 tells me I was bought with a price (that was Jesus’ paying here); do not become bondservants of men.
If I was bought out of sin, I owe the one who did the buying and not the spectators who watch.
It’s more important that I listen to God’s leading and not be overly concerned with others’ opinions. After all, didn’t Jesus do this very thing while on earth?
A good question for today is, who are you serving? The one you owe your life to or others, who don’t really have as much invested in you.
